As part of the Spring 2008 line of TMNT action figures from Playmates Toys is a segment sub-branded "Global Mutant Missions," a way to build upon the "Leonardo in Central America" theme from the TMNT movie by extending the idea to include the other turtles (Michelangelo in Australia, etc.), as well as to introduce four other secondary characters, one of whom is Jagwar from the old TMNT Adventures and Mutanimals comic books (the other three characters have never appeared before in any medium). Jagwar has always remained one of the favorite characters that I had a hand in creating, and I'm happy that Jason Bischoff from Playmates suggested the idea for including Jagwar in this sub-brand!

Wow! This is fantastic!!
Dude Murphy I signed up just to Blog Spot To Say this you are making a dream of mine come true!
Wow man keep pushing for those old characters to be made into plastic!
Thanks for saving me from having to make custom action figures lol
This is cool. Will they use they still be using the movie designs? Also, will Leatherhead be in there somewhere?
Yeah, the movie design turtles are pretty much the new direction "look" of the action figures, although I haven't seen sculpts yet on these secondary characters...
No Leatherhead at this point, though.
This is awesome news, as are the pictures! Let me guess though, the Aussie character's a kangaroo...?
There is a God after all.
