Now don't get all hot and bothered by this pic because it honestly does NOT mean anything in terms of a sequel to the TMNT CGI film (any official announcement on that front would not be coming until the end of September, possibly maybe, if at all). What you're seeing here is a large framed print delivered to Mirage yesterday by Imagi (animation studio of TMNT). No note accompanied the picture, so our assumption (mine, anyways) is that the image was an in-house "inspirational" piece of art that would have accompanied a specific story pitch for a potential sequel, art that Imagi - for whatever reason at this point in our relationship - decided to send us as a gift. In and of itself, every picture tells a story. This one seems pretty clear.
